WWE star Kevin Owens hopes to jump off Raymond James Stadium pirate ship at WrestleMania 37
Kevin Owens is hoping to jump off the Raymond James Stadium pirate ship at WrestleMania 37.
KO had hoped to do the same spot last year, but the coronavirus pandemic forced WrestleMania 36 to be held at WWE’s Performance Centre behind closed doors.
Instead, Owens leaped off the WrestleMania 36 sign as he picked up a big win over Seth Rollins at last year’s event.
With WWE holding WrestleMania 37 at the Raymond James Stadium on April 10 and 11, Owens insists he is doing everything in his power to do a crazy spot on the iconic pirate ship.
Owens told FOX Sports: “I want to do it.
“I can’t promise people that I’m going to do it because, you know, circumstances and whatever.
“But I can promise everybody that I’m going to try as much as possible to do it.
“I’ll do my best. I’ll annoy anybody I can. I will get into anyone’s ear I possibly can. I will literally do everything in my power to get to the point where I can jump off that ship.
“But even climbing up the ship, like, it’s already ready in my head. How I’m going to get up there, everything. I studied it.
“I did my research before I made that claim last year. So, I’m ready for it this year.”
Owens has been feuding with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in recent months, but it remains to be seen who he will face at WrestleMania 37.
