When is it and who can get who? Liverpool through as Chelsea and Man City hope to join them this week
The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals takes place later this week with Europe’s elite competition heating up nicely.
The last-16 round will be completed this week with Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Porto having already booked their places in the quarters.
Premier League duo Manchester City and Chelsea are also still in the showpiece tournament and will be eager to secure a spot in the draw for the next round.
The final of this season’s Champions League will be held on May 29 and is taking place at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
The remaining teams will be dreaming of lifting the famous trophy in Turkey but there’s plenty of action to come before then.
Champions League draw: Date and time
The quarter-final draw ceremony will take place on Friday, March 19 and will get under way at 11am UK time.
There will be no seedings and no country protection, so the remaining teams can face anyone.
The first legs will be played on April 6 and 7 while the second legs will be played on April 13 and 14.
The draw for the semi-finals will also be held on March 19 as will the draw to determine the ‘home’ team for the final.
