UFC star Jorge Masvidal furious after man is knocked out violently whilst leaving Million MAGA March in Washington D.C. at pro-Donald Trump supporters rally
Jorge Masvidal was left seething after footage emerged of a man getting knocked out cold whilst leaving Saturday’s Million MAGA March.
Thousands took to the streets of Washington D.C. in support of outgoing US President Donald Trump to back his unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud in the election.
Flag-waving demonstrators were joined by members of far-fight groups such as ‘The Proud Boys’, with some clad in bullet-proof vests and helmets.
Although protests were largely peaceful, violent skirmishes broke out in the evening between Trump protesters and counter-protestors.
A video surfaced on Twitter showing a man knocked unconscious whilst leaving the MAGA March.
Masvidal, who championed for Trump and spoke at various rallies in his home city of Miami, was clearly unhappy with the assault and took to Twitter to voice his concerns.
“I bet I can get a couple of teammates and start attending these things,” ‘Gamebred’ wrote. “And I say this not to promote violence.
“To keep the peace. We are all in this together. #theresurrection.”
The 35-year-old has not fought since he was soundly beaten by welterweight champion Kamaru Usman on Fight Island back in July, although a bout against fellow Trump supporter and former friend Colby Covington is reportedly scheduled for 2021.
