New Conor McGregor picture shows UFC legend in the shape of his life ahead of boxing return to face Manny Pacquiao in next fight
Conor McGregor has been making headlines all over the place recently.
Having announced he will be sharing the boxing ring with the legendary Manny Pacquiao next, then involved himself in a spat with UFC boss Dana White.
White, who has teased a possible rekindling of their working relationship in 2021, didn’t appreciate the Irishman releasing private text messages the two exchanged about a possible fight with outgoing UFC star Diego Sanchez and then denied any knowledge of another crossover boxing match.
McGregor called White out on his lies while he was at it, but put any feuding to one side for now as he showed fans what kind of shape he is in for a return to the ring.
With his head shaved and chiselled physique, journalist Ariel Helwani noted he looks like ‘early days Conor’ – the man who became the first-ever double champion in UFC history.
McGregor is looking bulkier and more ripped than he ever has done and is clearly taking his training seriously despite not having fought since his 40-second destruction of Donald Cerrone in January.
Will McGregor and White kiss and make up? Probably.
But right now, McGregor is set to return to the boxing ring. What he has to say after Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje meet at UFC 254 in October will be interesting.
