Jake Paul performs bizarre routine at open workout ahead of boxing match with Ben Askren
Jake Paul and Ben Askren continued their preparations ahead of their fight on Saturday night as both took part in open workouts.
The exhibition event will take centre-stage on Saturday night as Youtuber Paul takes on UFC star Askren.
The two have been engaged in a war of words for several weeks and clashed at a recent press conference.
Now they will meet in Georgia to settle their much-hyped but controversial feud.
Open workouts were held on Wednesday and were streamed live on YouTube.
It was Jake Paul’s unusual routine that caught the eye. He performed a series of bizarre stretches where he was balance in mid-air on the feet of his trainer.
The YouTuber proceeded to do this for five minutes before some skipping and then finished with shadow boxing.
Askren’s workout was a little more conventional as he worked the pads with his trainer.
The bizarre exhibition event will take place on Saturday, April 17 and is being held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
UK fans can expect the action to get under way after midnight with the card getting going from 2am Sunday morning and Paul v Askren slated for 4am.
British millionaire nightclub owner Joe Fournier is set to face Colombian reggaeton musician Reykon as part of the quirky undercard.
Former WBA super-lightweight champion Regis Prograis and ex-UFC heavyweight star Frank Mir will also be in action.
There will be a unique mix of fights on the undercard and Justin Bieber and Snoop Dogg are set perform as part of a star-studded line-up on the night.
