Former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho agrees to become Roma’s new head coach just two weeks after Tottenham sacking
Jose Mourinho has agreed to become Roma’s new head coach for the 2021/22 season, the Serie A club have confirmed.
The 58-year-old has made a swift return to management after being sacked by Tottenham just 15 days ago.
A brief Roma statement said: “The club are delighted to announce an agreement has been reached with Jose Mourinho for him to become our new head coach ahead of the 2021-22 season.”
Mourinho, who has won league titles in England, Spain and Italy, will be part of talkSPORT’s coverage of Euro 2020 this summer.
